KM Advisors (“KMA”) is a boutique organization that has been providing leader development services for 25 years. We have successfully supported leaders in the senior most positions in their organizations and those who are just beginning to emerge and show their potential.
The term “leader” refers to those who influence others, not just those with a title that screams “I’m a leader.” In fact, we notice that many people with titles that suggest they are leaders do not lead at all or prefer to manage rather than lead. Our goal is to help develop leaders effectiveness so that they can help their organizations thrive and change the world for the better.
We currently focus on serving clients in the legal and academic healthcare industries.
Legal Industry
Law Firms:
While leaders from the 200 largest law firms make up the bulk of our clients, we routinely work with leaders from law firms of all sizes. We have a particular fondness for boutique firms. Our work with law firm leaders includes business professionals as well as attorneys.
In-house legal departments:
Our in-house clients range from general counsel and their direct reports to individual contributors who are seeking to develop their skills and experiences to move into formal leadership roles.
Most large corporate legal departments benefit from enterprise-wide resources to support their leader development efforts. In these instances, KMA provides “one-off” support to members of legal departments who cannot utilize an existing organizational resource due to capacity or time constraints.
KMA serves as a “go to” resource for smaller legal departments that do not have the enterprise-wide leader development resources.
Academic Healthcare
KM Advisors has supported leaders in public and private healthcare systems, pharma, device manufacturers, research organizations, out-patient facilities and a host of other entities that comprise the complex healthcare ecosystem in the United States.
However, our primary focus is in supporting physician and business professionals leading business units in healthcare systems that are affiliated with universities. These leaders typically are Division heads or Department chairs or the business professionals who partner with the physicians. Others are leaders of centers of excellence, independent yet affiliated facilities like cancer treatment centers and children’s hospitals and a variety of other roles including academic roles.
KM Advisor’s clients are primarily business organizations who make payments directly via ACH deposit. Individual clients may choose to pay electronically via an echeck or credit card via Stripe.
